Requesting Investigations

All specimens submitted to PathTech Laboratories Ltd must comply with specimen acceptance requirements to ensure accurate patient identification, safe handling, and appropriate diagnostic processing.

Failure to provide adequate patient identifiers or relevant clinical information may result in delays.

All urgent and cancer pathway specimens must be clearly labelled as such.

The date and time of specimen collection must be included on the request form to allow assessment of fixation adequacy.
